Wetu: Two-Spirit Stories by Sunny Ôchumuk and Shaina Lu
Wetu contains three short comics where each main character is queer or trans and Wampanoag. Wetu means house in Wampanoag, and it is in this anthology that we hope that two-spirit people can find a home in fiction, both past, present and future.
Sunny Ôchumuk is a mixed race Wampanoag two-spirit writer. They really like dogs and playing the violin. Shaina Lu 呂明穎 is a queer Taiwanese American artist exploring the intersection of art, education, and activism. She is full of sugar. Shaina and Sunny bonded over anime one summer and have been friends ever since.
