Infinite Beginnings: Connecting to Our Gut Spirits

Infinite Beginnings: Connecting to Our Gut Spirits

August 26, 2022

Join us Saturday, August 27th from 1-4pm in Columbus Park as Wing on Wo and The Met Museum present ✨INFINITE BEGINNINGS✨ a mythical narrative by writer K-Ming Chang turned breathtaking visual parable. Illustrated by Singha Hon, Infinite Beginnings is Wing on Wo’s very own visual publication presenting an allegorical thangka that grounds the viewer in a mythical journey of self-inquisition paired with prompts for self reflection.

Our August 27th program will include a reading of K-Ming’s narrative, and a portal into this mythical world of grounding and transformation through a Qi Gong movement workshop by Lingji Hon, and a rest and collective dreaming space featuring ceramic pillows by artist Cathy Lu.

About Infinite Beginnings

a god/dess' transformative journey as they search earth and sky for their belonging

Infinite Beginnings brings a mythical narrative by writer K-Ming Chang into a breathtaking visual parable. Illustrated by Singha Hon, Infinite Beginnings presents an allegorical thangka that grounds the viewer in a mythical journey of self-inquisition. Inspired by K-Ming’s surreal world of possibility, the viewer is shown the breadth of self-survival in the world of water, fire, earth, air, and sky, and the ways we find glimmers of power and strength through moments of struggle and doubt, expansion and collapse.
