Inspired by the ladies of the neighborhood Chinese bakeries who don their iconic head scarves behind the counters, this argyle print handkerchief features a more subtle beading moment in the design for an elevated touch. The argyle print features vignettes from a photo Mischelle made for From Chinatown With Love 2021. Inspired by visits to the herbalist store with her grandma to get medicinal oils and dried goods for soup, this photo was a recreated scene of products from Po Wing Hong and Wing on Wo: herbs stored in delicate jars with the handwritten neon oaktag signage.
