Monsoon Pottery x WOW

Danielle Chutinthranond of Monsoon Pottery is a ceramic artist specializing in porcelain, working out of her West Town studio in Chicago. She is inspired by Asian art history, Chinatowns all over the world, and food & restaurant culture.

A signature style of Danielle’s is combining the inlay technique with the aesthetics of blue & white porcelain. Each piece is hand-carved, freehand, and filled in with a blue pigmented slip (liquid clay). All designs live under the glaze so they will never rub off. Each piece in this collection is microwave and dishwasher safe.
